- Pleiku - Plei Bloum - Ho Nga
Located
in the remote Central Highlands, Pleiku is an area of
rugged beauty with its raw unspoiled landscapes of
jungles and waterfalls and home to a variety of ethnic
minority hill tribe people. This trip is for travelers
who seek an off the beaten track adventure combined
with cultural experiences. We will visit a Jarai
village where we observe these people's unusual burial
customs, overnight in a traditional rong communal
house on stilts.
ITINERARY
Day
1: Danang - Pleiku
This morning our guide will greet you before starting
our full days drive to Pleiku. The drive will take
around 10 hours to our destination. On the way we will
have regular comfort and refreshment stops. Tonight we
will spend the night in a local guesthouse.
Day
2 : Pleiku - Plei Bloum (Breakfast,
Lunch & Dinner included)
This morning our drive takes us 100 km. to the village
of Plei Bloum, home to the Jarai hill tribe minority
people. We will visit several villages in the area
sharing cultural exchanges with these friendly people.
This evening the Jarai people whom, following our
evening meal, will perform theirtraditional songs and
dance for our enjoyment host us. This evening is spent
with a Jarai family in their traditional stilt
house.
Day
3: Blei Bloum (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
included)
After breakfast, we begin our trek to Ho-Nga village,
home of the Banhar people. On the way we will have a
picnic lunch at the banks of the Ba River. This
afternoon we will return to Plei Bloum for another
night with the Jarai people.
Day
4: Pleiku (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)
This morning, following breakfast, we will return to
Pleiku for one more night. The afternoon will be free
to relax or explore. Tonight we will once again spend
in the local guesthouse.
Day
5 : Pleiku - Danang (Breakfast included)
This morning we will depart Pleiku early for the long
drive back to Danang. As with the trip south four days
earlier we will make regular comfort and refreshment
stops.
